Overview
Cancellations are managed in the LetMeBuddy app. Session fees are between customers and Buddies; Booking Credits are platform fees for Buddies only. See also our Return & Refund Policy for refund duration and payment reversal rules.
Cancellation duration — before acceptance
- Customer: You may cancel a pending booking request at any time before the Buddy accepts. No Booking Credit is consumed and no session fee should be paid.
- Buddy: You may decline or ignore a request before accepting. No Booking Credit is consumed.
Cancellation duration — after acceptance
- Customer cancels after Buddy accepted: Cancel in the app as early as possible and notify your Buddy in chat. The Buddy's consumed Booking Credit is restored immediately to their account. Any session-fee refund is between you and the Buddy — LetMeBuddy does not hold session funds.
- Buddy cancels after accepting: Notify the customer promptly in chat. The customer should not pay a session fee for a cancelled session. The consumed Booking Credit is not returned to the Buddy.
- Lateness: Arriving late does not automatically cancel a booking. Coordinate in chat and proceed when possible, or cancel explicitly if you cannot meet.
No-shows and repeated cancellations
Repeated no-shows, last-minute cancellations, or abusive cancellation patterns may affect account status under our Community Guidelines and Terms & Conditions.
Booking Credits on cancellation
Buddies purchase Booking Credits on LetMeBuddy via Razorpay to accept bookings. One credit is consumed when you accept a booking request. Credit packs, pricing, and welcome credits (if offered) are shown in the app. Booking Credits are platform fees for Buddies only — not session fees and not a customer payment account. If a Buddy cancels after accepting, the consumed credit is not returned. If the customer cancels after the Buddy accepted, the consumed credit is restored to the Buddy.
