How to request deletion
Submit a request using your registered phone number. We’ll verify ownership via OTP before processing.
- Open the LetMeBuddy app and sign in.
- Go to Profile / Settings and use the account deletion option if shown.
- If you can’t access the app, use the form above or email support@letmebuddy.com and include your registered phone number.
What we delete
After verification, we delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer needed to operate the service, including profile data where applicable, subject to the exceptions below.
What we may retain
We may retain certain records where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or safety (for example, transaction records, minimal booking metadata, or abuse reports) for a limited period. Aggregated or anonymised analytics may also be retained.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe (often within 30 days), unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances.
