How to request deletion
- Open the LetMeBuddy app and sign in.
- Go to Profile / Settings and use the account deletion or data request option if shown.
- If you cannot access the app, email support@letmebuddy.com from your registered email with the subject "Account deletion request" and include your registered phone or user ID if you know it.
What we delete
After verification, we delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer needed to operate the service, including profile data where applicable, subject to the exceptions below.
What we may retain
We may retain certain records where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or safety (for example, transaction records, minimal booking metadata, or abuse reports) for a limited period. Aggregated or anonymised analytics may also be retained.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe (often within 30 days), unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances.
